What a whirlwind! I traveled to Berlin with my Business Strategy class, and we spent three days in the city. We didn’t have very much free time because it was mainly for school, but here are some of my highlights!

• We ate lunch at the top of the Reichstag building, which gave us an incredible view. Bonus: the food was delicious!

• We visited Checkpoint Charlie, the crossing point between East Berlin and West Berlin during the Cold War, which was fascinating to see in person.

• Right next to Checkpoint Charlie is part of the Berlin Wall and a small exhibit. It gave background information on those who tired to escape by climbing over the wall.

• Then we walked through the Holocaust Memorial. This was by far my favorite stop, and the exhibition was like nothing I have ever experienced before.

Berlin has a very intense history and one that is unavoidable when visiting. I want to go back because I think there is so much more for me to see and learn.
